1987 Nissan Stanza 2.0 Liter
Summary:
A reliable, low cost piece of aluminum
Faults:
Leaky rear wheel cylinders (adversely affected rear brakes).
Needed to replace a torn/split boot on the front (driver side).
The air conditioner belt is starting to deteriorate (not serious yet).
Front exhaust pipe is beginning to fall apart.
General Comments:
This car is ideal for someone without a lot of money (a good college car). The car is reliable, needing only minor maintenance to keep it on the road. It is certainly not a high performance vehicle and is quite incapable of impressing anyone in its acceleration or speed. The car's appearance isn't exactly captivating either. Its original design is simple, not much unlike other modest cars of the late 1980s, such as the Honda Accord and the Subaru GL. It is a humble, 97 horsepower car that will keep you safe (assuming you adequately maintain the essential components of the vehicle) and comfortable. The repair costs have been small for me so far (crossing fingers). Indeed, I have never had any work done on the engine itself. It's a good buy at $1500 ($1,135 USD). If you're looking for a cheap and reliable vehicle this may be the one for you.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I have a Stanza, that I bought at 198,000 miles, and it is still in great shape. I would recommend this car to anybody who is on a tight budget, and needs a very reliable car.
