Faults:

The car has a oil leak that I will have to chase down. Other than that, the car is just getting broke in.

General Comments:

This car is very quick and responsive. Out on the road I can smoke 2003 Corvettes no problem.

She ain't much to look at, but that is the secret: She's a sleeper.

I just bought this car for $400.00 from a co worker and I truly think I scored.

The interior is E MAC, other than the quart of oil the dog chewed open in the back seat.

I removed the back seat very easily and completely cleaned it myself. The car is easy to work on.

My wife doesn't know it yet but this car is going to be hers and I will take the 2003 Honda Pilot from her.

She can thank me later, because the Stanza is more fun to drive.

Faults:

I have only had 2 problems with my stanza. The first one being the alternator.

The second problem I had was the starter going out on me. Neither of these were a high expense.

General Comments:

This car was my first car, and it has done very well. I have been able to drive it to and from Minnesota (from Oklahoma). It has really had no major problems and was a great first car. It handles well on highways, and city driving.

Faults:

My 5-speed has run great until recently. I am having the first major problem. My speedometer jumps around and gets stuck as high as it will go. Now when it gets stuck my odometer stops turning over. Also I don't know if this had anything to do with the odometers, but on some occasions my car will start jerking when it gets to 2500 RP Ms. When this happens I cannot go faster than 65 miles per hour. I have to shift the lower gears before it starts bucking at 2500 RP Ms. If I restart my car this will stop happening for a while. I've had my speed sensor changed and the problems all still exist.

General Comments:

The interior has held up great. It still looks new.

Even though it's a 1992 it doesn't feel that outdated.

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong with the car in two years.

Routinely replaced front brake pads.

:) Wiper blades? Oil, filter, put front like new tires.

General Comments:

Car served extremely well. At a mileage of 200000 miles everything was original. It started with half of the turn. Of course need to mention I had kept it tuned up, which means I just put new wires, plugs, distributor cap and rotor.

The engine had one defect ever since I bought it, something was knocking in it, which might have been rocker arms, or something in that nature. However, I did not do anything about it and it lasted just perfectly fine for 2 years and 40000 miles. I took it around the country several time, but it finally broke on the way back from Canada. I regret I did not take care of that knock.

Otherwise majestic car, great job of engineering and assembling.

I have a low miles Nissan Altima now, which reminds me of that sweet Stanza. :) It is a very memorable car to me, which helped me with my girlfriend. :)
