General Comments:
This car gets better the more you drive it. I was never really a four door car fan, but I love this Aurora. GM really got it right with this vehicle. The car does have a lot of things that could potentially go wrong. Take the car to someone who is familiar with fixing them. I have a light blue one with a dark blue leather interior. It has every option in it. It really should have had the Cadillac nameplate on it. I guess it was too progressive for Cadillac's tastes at the time. It most definitely competes with the BMW 700 series, as it was intended to. You can pick up a used one for a song right now. I would recommend one to anyone!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I just bought mine about three months ago. It has 64K miles on it. It had a lot of stuff wrong with it, but that was one of the reasons I bought it. I love fixing these guys. Nothing major just lots of little interior and electric stuff. If you're patient and can use a screw driver (torque head) and metric wrenches, you can fix pretty much any little thing on this car. Parts are plentiful on Ebay. Best thing you can do is call around to some of the wrecking lots and see what they have. I paid under $3K for mine and with only 64K miles on it it was a steal.
I bought the shop manuals, but to be honest, I haven't had to open it up yet. Everything I've fixed has been straight forward and common sense. You're biggest help is to get on the Aurora Club of North America web site. Someone there can answer any of you questions.

Mine is the same color and has 202,000 miles on it and is great. I have cruise control problems and the headlight problem otherwise its great. A K/N air filter helps a lot, 27 mpg on highway and hits 138 much quicker!
