Faults:

In 1999, at 1,500 miles something went on it causing it to be towed to the dealer for repairs (under warranty) which took 3 days.

In 2001, at 16,404 miles the Up Stream 02 sensor went resulting in catalytic converter failure and subsequent replacement by dealer.

In September of 2002, replaced all 4 tires and brakes at 27,346 miles (after regular tire rotation).

In March 2003, replaced leaking head-gasket and cam sensor as well as plugs and wires at 30,604 miles.

General Comments:

I've been happy with the comfort and handling of this car, but as you can see from the numerous repairs, I'm relieved that I bought the extended warranty (which I've never done before). I'm also irritated that I should have had to.

The dealer has always been quick to respond and the service has been excellent, but this car has too many problems.

Faults:

I had made three payments on the car when the head gasket began to leak severley, when I took it in to get repaired, I was told that it was nothing major, then a few days later there was a huge spot of oil on the ground I had it towed back to the repair shop and over $1,000 is what it cost to repair the head gasket at 40,000 miles. Then I was told that if I didn't go ahead and replace the timing belt that I would have more problems in the near future, so that was an additional $200 for the part.

Both "Door Checks" broke on the front doors and those had to be replaced which was $85.

Dash lights continue to burn out and they are a bummer to replace, but have figured out how to do that myself.

The bolt that holds the rod in the driver's door has backed its way out of the door on several occasions; therefore, the dealer has put lock-tight on them, but no one took the time to find out why the thing continued to do it.

General Comments:

Out of all the vehicles I have owned, this one is definitely better. The only other thing that is a bother, is when it is very cold outside the defrost has to be on high and only on defrost in order to be able to see out the rear windows of the car.

Faults:

The head gasket had to be replaced at 49,000 miles. The cost to fix it was outrageous!

General Comments:

The car could use a little more speed when you get going, but once you get to the speed you want, it handles great.

The back seats are very spacious and fits 3 people comfortably.

Speakers you ask?...Not too shabby.

Battery.

Spark plugs.

Those were the only things that have needed replacement over the past 2 1/2 years. You can't beat the overall quality of the car considering its price. This car has performed outstanding for me.

General Comments:

The interior is very roomy and the seats are very comfortable.

To me the 5 speed shifts smoothly.

The displays are well laid out and easy to read.

They can do away with the seat height adjustment though.
