Faults:

The transmission went out at 129,000 miles, had to be replaced at a cost of $1700, but then again I was pulling a heavy UHaul trailer at the time. The rear windshield wiper has never worked since I've owned it, but that's very minor. Also the headlights have clouded over, replacements were $125/pair (not installed!). Finally, I've had replace the belt 3 times.

General Comments:

Despite it's high mileage, the car runs like it's new.

I've never had any problems other than what's stated above; overall, it's very reliable, very smooth.

The interior lighting system needs to be redesigned, the lights stay on after you get out for several seconds, which makes you wonder if they're going to go off at all. Also, just lifting the door handle outside makes the inside lights come on, so thieves can (supposedly) see what's inside easier.

Faults:

This vehicle is on its 5th transmission. Now it is leaking fluid.

Interior plastic parts started to crack and break at 60,000 miles.

It has used oil from the start (1 quart every 3,000 miles).

General Comments:

Transmissions are quite unreliable. After Chrysler has replaced all under warranty (2 within 12,000 mile rebuilt transmission warranty), but continuously claims there is "no unusual problem". Average life of the transmission was 10-15 thousand miles. Latest one finally hit 55,000 before leaking.

Faults:

In the 6 years I have owned this van I have had to replace the transmission 2 times.... that's a total of 3 transmissions in a 8 year old car... with each transmission casting about $1600... that's way to much to have to do for a car in my opinon.

General Comments:

It is good for such things as long car trips cause it does provide space for everyone, but it is not as reliable as some other mini vans.
