Faults:

The transmission was replaced after 145,000 miles.

It is currently in the shop to have the belt tensioner replaced for the 4th time in 2 years.

The cruise control was repaired when clock spring was replaced under recall.

Display does not work for the clock or radio tuner, originally it was sporadic, now it's gone completely.

Brakes seem to squeak again shortly after each replacement.

General Comments:

I have enjoyed our van and would recommend it to others. It is comfortable and reliable.

However, there are some annoying problems that appear after time and miles.

I don't think changing my oil every 3000 miles (even though I do) and using MOPAR transmission fluid will keep my tensioner from wearing out every 6-8 months.

Faults:

During the first few years we had this car, the transmission failed, but was fixed by the dealer free of charge.

Also, the driver window motor stopped working.

Otherwise, nothing has gone wrong with this car.

General Comments:

This is the best minivan on the road. It's been said to handle better than most sedans, and I wouldn't disagree with that statement. The 3.3 liter V-6 is more than adequate.

Inside, it is a very comfortable car. The captain's chairs and the comfortable third-row bench make long road trips seem much shorter. The legroom is great too. I'm 6' 2", and there is more than enough legroom for me, even in the back row, even with the bench pushed as far forward as it goes. Slide the seat all the way back and you'll find that the Grand Voyager STILL has more cargo space than most minivans, even with that seat slid back.

It has been a very reliable car, even after 132,000 miles, and we're looking forward to buying another Chrysler Corporation van.

Faults:

The windshield wiper warped in a snow storm and I haven't fixed it yet.

The brakes have been replaced at 32500 miles. No other problems with the car yet. Air conditioning works great.

General Comments:

The this car is a big improvement over the pre '96 models. The V6 gives the van a little extra push. And it is a very comfortable ride overall. The 3rd row backseat is somewhat comfortable, but on road trips it is usually just my family of 4 and no one is cramped for space with 2nd row Captains chairs.

Chrysler improved the car's handling since the new mini-vans have been out. For those who have a family and enjoy driving, the car's low center of gravity allows some amenable maneuverability. It gets from 0-60 in about 11 seconds. The fuel economy is average. 20mpg on the street 28 on the highway. Overall a good buy.

Nothing at all.

General Comments:

Superb long distance cruiser. A bit of a handfull around town. Fuel consumption is a bit steep (~15 mpg average, 30 mpg on a longer run [US mpg]). Hatfields Jeep in Sheffield England have been very helpful and give great service.
