General Comments:
I love this car and couldn't trade it for anything. The handling is great and it rides super smooth. It's such a fun car, and I get lots of compliments about it from friends and strangers.
"Wow that is such a nice unique looking car you have there, they sure don't make them like that anymore" - random older man.
This car is going through a rough period right now (22 years old), minor repairs to the front end, but nothing bad engine wise so far (knock on wood). I've heard lots about people saying these cars blow head gaskets easily or burn oil, but I have never had that issue, mainly because everything is stock on my car.
Gets great gas mileage; 27 city, 32 highway.
It's just been a great car ever since I bought it only for $275. It needed a new paint job, minor cosmetic repair, and some rust repair on both fenders and rear tire wells. Also a minor interior cleanup/fixup when I first bought the car, which I did all the repairs myself to save $$$.
The car is still running to this day, with no problems inside the car. Just little fixes outside the underneath of the car due to Michigan weather, road salt, and old age. Undercoating all of it this summer.
The only thing this car needs to be that much better would be cup holders and more leg room in the back seat.
Excellent daily driver car, has never left me stranded!! Please bring Plymouth back and the Plymouth Lasers!!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
