1988 Plymouth Sundance
Summary:
Big quality for low cost
Faults:
I had general things go wrong as with any high mileage car.
I replaced the timing belt at about 120,000.
I replaced a couple of sensors.
The biggest thing with this car was the paint, it started flaking off after about 95,000 until my white car was almost completely gray.
General Comments:
This was my favorite car I ever owned.
It was sporty, reliable, easy on gas and a blast to drive.
I have yet to find a car with seats as comfortable as the ones in my Sundance.
My Sundance got me hooked on Chrysler products and I haven't looked back. I am on my 4th Dodge. The only reason I sold the Sundance was for more room.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I would suggest that you go to an auto parts store, or even Amazon.com and buy a Hayne's Manual or Chilton's Manual for your car. These are very detailed repair manuals for the do-it-your-selfer, and they break out the car's different systems with troubleshooting guides, and detailed diagrams with step-by-step instructions for how to check and replace things. These manuals run about $20.

Hey I was just wondering if you knew of anywhere I could get a picture with the parts listed on it... You see I am so not a mechanically inclined female and my 1988 sun dance has broken down... something is wrong and oil is spraying out of a hole and I need to know what that hole is so I can get the thing fixed... I love my sun dance and I would like to keep it instead of selling it... if you could help me out email me at velezchristina@hotmail.com.
