Faults:

Battery was replaced.

ABS was uninstalled (filling lines with air).

Radio wheel controls failed.

Power locks failed.

Trunk prop failed.

Power antenna failed.

Sun glasses holder broke.

1 of 4 sun visors fell off.

Heated seats failed.

Driver seat leather is wearing badly.

Only 1 of 3 cigarette lighters work.

Cabin has started to leak water. I can't find the leak!

General Comments:

This car impressed me. I bought the car after a telephone pole jumped in front of my Jetta :).

The car is going to hit 230k miles and it doesn't even burn oil. It's still very fast for its size. I clocked the 0 to 60 M.P.H and it's 2 seconds faster than my Jetta was. It's cheaper to tune up; $17 for wires, compared to VW's $80; so that made me happy.

Overall it's a great car. I'm surprised there is no rust, since my area roads are salted during winter.

Because of everything the car has been through, its been nicknamed "The Bonnerville".

Faults:

Before I purchased the car, the engine was replaced because of person that owned it prior to me ran it out of oil and seized the motor. The new motor only had 65,000 miles on it when I purchased the car.

The alternator went at 173,987 miles, as did the heater core and the thermostat gasket.

The car has a brand new radiator and hoses.

The temp gauge stop working, but I purchased a custom sunpro gauge.

The sway bar links went at 174,000, as did the front engine mount.

General Comments:

I absolutely fell in love with the car when I saw it. It looks very sporty and is pretty reliable for a high milage car.

I purchased the car for $1,500.00; it drives like new.

And the 3.8 litre V6 thinks it's a V8, and is very peppy and quick, and will smoke all the little 4 cylinders.

I have a cherrybomb exhaust and cold air intake.

The seats are very comfortable and the ride is smooth, but it still handles great.

And the cabin makes you feel like you're driving a very high end car with all of the 6 gauges spread across the dash, all the way to the glove box.

I love the cars sporty lines and the amount of power.

Faults:

Just before purchase:

Cam magnet replaced 94k.

EGR valve replaced 94k.

Current issues:

Dimmer switch flickers.

Speakers sometimes sound like they're ready to blow.

Has a constant rough idle. I'm slowly tracking it down by replacing one thing at a time. Everything on this car was absolutely original. Very sad.

General Comments:

Definitely handles well with only the FE1 Touring suspension.

Love the comfort and feel of the car.

Needed another car and said, hey, what better than another Bonneville!

Faults:

The heater core blew at about 75,000 miles and antifreeze flowed through the firewall on the passenger side under the dashboard! I paid nearly $500.00 to get it replaced at Pep Boys, and for some reason after traveling approximately 1,500 miles--it blew again in Illinois and it cost another $600.00! Beyond that, I have replaced the battery and the paint's clear-coat started to peel away on the car's roof. Also the controls for the radio located on the steering wheel never worked.

General Comments:

I have always liked the sporty look of my Bonneville. It already looks like a "unique whip" straight off the assembly line. Also it has enough power to stomp many 2007 cars off the line at intersections. It's handling although not as good as my wife's '04 Grand Prix, but its close. The interior is quite comfortable and there are multiple seat adjustments to fine tune my comfort. Overall I'd say the good points outweigh the bad.
