Faults:

A few weeks after I got my Bonneville my alternator went out on the car.

The Driver side door lock will lock, but it will not unlock with the power door locks.

My brakes on the car are just now needing to be changed on the front.

I also need to get a new battery.

Other than these minor problems I have gave the car a good tune up.

General Comments:

I love this car. To me I consider it a sports car.

The car has a very powerful motor.

It has a very comfortable interior with the biscuit like seats. The leather is very nice.

Well to keep form writing so much, I love everything about this car!

Faults:

Since I've had it, I've replaced the fuel pump and the starter. The gentleman I bought the car from thought there was a leak in the Y pipe, however, the clamp is rusted and rottening off, so with the Oxygen Censor in better standings, and a good tune up, I should get even better performance out of the car. Although it does run QUITE well already.

General Comments:

The cabin is UNBELIEVABLY comfortable... the best decision I ever made was buying and investing in this car. The bottom of the car is absolutely MINT. With a good undercoating the car should last another good 10 years. This car is awesome to drive, I hate being in the passenger seat, but even when I allow my hubby to drive, I enjoy it just as much. The car is quick and powerful, yet easy enough to handle..

Faults:

I just bought the car so there isn't much wrong with it.

The headlight switch is going out sometimes if you hit the switch while they are on,the dash lights will go out until you hit the switch again.

The passenger door locks, but doesn't unlock.

The Passenger side power window button went bad so I have to replace it on both sides.

General Comments:

I love this car!

Everything about it screams sporty.

I owned a Grand Am, but retired it for the Bonneville, Best decision I have ever made.

I have always been a Pontiac lover and will stay true to that!

Faults:

The previous owners changed the fuel pump.

Shortly after I got it the ECU went bad.

Is currently leaking coolant from intake.

The power antenna has stopped working.

General Comments:

Has great performance for such a large car.

The interior is roomy and comfortable.

The sunroof is great in the summer.

I love the heads up display.

When I got it the stereo system was terrible. I added an Audiovax head unit, Sony-Xplode door speakers, and a Kenwood 350 watt amp with a 10 inch MTX Thunder 8000 Series Subwoofer. I also put a blue strobing neon in the trunk.

I payed and unbelievibly low price for this car ($2500 in almost mint condition) and have only put a few hundred dollars into.

Faults:

Coolant fitting broke at approximately 100,000 miles. Common problem, only approx 100.00 cost to repair.

General Comments:

The Pontiac Bonneville is one of the lowest operating cost cars on the road today.

Extreemly reliable, great gas mileage (considering the size of car), sporty and safe.

I totaled my Bonneville out in August of 2003 with 240,000 miles. The car was in excellent shape and I was planning on driving to 300K or beyond. Even though I hit a semi at highway speeds, I walked away for it.

I purchased a 1998 Bonneville to replace my 1994.

I recommend buying the leather seats versus the cloth.
