Faults:

Coil pack housing and coils packs needed to be replaced at 90000 miles.

90000 miles Rainwater leaked into glove compartment. The source of this leak is unknown to me, and it only happens when the rain comes from a certain direction.

92000 miles The rear brake line needed to be replaced.

92000 miles The exhaust pipe cracked in front of the catalytic converter.

93000 miles The blower motor shorted out and needed to be replaced.

100000 miles The transmission slips frequently, and reverse doesn't work.

105000 miles The passenger side wiper motor stopped working and the wiper arm on that side broke off.

110000 miles The alternator broke off the bracket that mounts it to the motor.

As of now, (115000) miles, the car needs a new front passenger side wheel bearing, motor mount, CV joint, and both brake rotors and pads in the front.

General Comments:

In spite of all the things that have gone wrong with the car, it has never failed to get me where I'm going.

The stock stereo was awesome, although the speakers didn't last all that long.

This car is very comfortable to drive and there more than enough room to haul people around in it.

Faults:

Replaced starter twice.

Replaced alternator three times.

Replaced radiator and hoses once.

Regular wear and tear on tires, belts etc.

General Comments:

Great speed on highway.

Excellent fuel mileage on highway.

No rust on body.

This vehicle has the original motor.

Faults:

The Brakes went out three times.

Replaced ignition control module twice.

Recently Blew Water pump.

Had to replace MAP sensor twice.

Terrible gas milege.

Engine idles very roughly, stalls when at a stop (in intersections).

Always hearing snapping from the engine in idle, even though I've replaced all the spark plugs and wires a few times.

General Comments:

This Car was made for a derby, it has no value, and I laugh every time I see a poor sucker lured into one.

Noisy and it's not even good enough to get you from point a to point b.

Faults:

The transmission was faulty and needed to be replaced.

The fuel pump stopped working and I had to replace it, as well as the fuel filter.

The lower end ball joints went out causing an annoying racket when I would drive.

The CV joints went out causing a pop noise every time I took a left turn.

The lower and upper control arms went out making the car unsafe to drive until repaired.

All struts and shocks had to be replaced after 3 months of owning the car.

I had to have the car re-aligned 3 times in a six month period.

The hydraulic motor mount was faulty causing the engine to jolt and move around.

Currently the car has a timing problem an is not starting.

General Comments:

The car did get incredible gas mileage.

However the car left me stranded one too many times.

Although the car had great handling, maintaining the cars suspension and balance, etc, was all too much.

The car was a great car, until it came time to fix it, then it was a disaster.

What is listed is not all repairs received to car, just my experience, I am to understand a lot had been done before my purchase of the vehicle.

Faults:

Only problem I have had with the car that are major are as follows:

Air Conditioning stop working 4 years ago. To costly to fix.

Water enters the car in the winter and the carpets get all wet, need a fix for that.

Paint is peeling, likely cause is that the car was parked in a factory lot for over 8 years.

General Comments:

I like the car and would keep it if I could get the wet carpet issue resolved.

The car has had general repairs, at minimum cost thanks to a hard working mechanic. He will go to a scrap yard to get used parts that are like new.
