1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT 3.4
Summary:
Big bark, little bite
Faults:
BRAKES, BRAKES, BRAKES!!!
Do not replace with factory discs.
The motor seems to be tied up. I don't what is causing this, as all the filters have been changed, and a brand new converter also.
General Comments:
To be honest, I have mixed feelings about this car. I mean I love driving the car, it has decent performance, and the only real problems are the brakes, and the strange thing that's going on with the motor. But other than that, it's OK.
I love the driving the thing. It looks awesome, has a good sound system from the factory.
Would I buy another one? Only with an extended warranty.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

Ever stop to think that the reason you got a "great deal" on it when you bought it was because it was going to need a lot of repairs? It's not the car's fault that you hit curbs or let the brake pads wear down until they grind.
Fact of life: all cars with high mileage are going to need repairs and parts replaced.
Even Hondas.
