Faults:

The radio tuner doesn't reach out for many radio stations and the tuner display works part time.

Had to replace a front wheel bearing (spindle).

General Comments:

This car is fast. It has great acceleration and handles better than any car I've ever owned. It has a pretty high top end too.. well over 120 mph.

This car is very reliable and has never left me stranded, everything has always worked and I consider it to be a great car.

Faults:

Bought the car because it only had 60k miles. Thought is was a good deal for a 1999. Turns out it needs a new transmission. I couldn't believe a car with only 60k miles would need a new transmission.

The seats also feel "warped" and are very stiff.

I'm curious about the brakes. They also seem very tight.

Faults:

An engine gasket blew at 50,000 miles.

The car often stalls in hot weather, especially at lower speeds. My car has been in to at least 4 different shops for this problem, and none have been able to fix it.

My driver side window doesn't roll down in cold weather.

My air conditioning and heater don't work below a level of 3.

My radio has stopped working three times. Dealerships have fixed this problem for me twice in the past.

The back seats fold down very inconveniently. You must release them from inside the trunk, then push them in and go back around to the inside of the car.

The tires wear down quickly (about 25000 miles) and are expensive.

The turning radius is quite large for the size of the car.

The CD player skips on even slightly bumpy roads.

General Comments:

This car looks great, and is very fast.

However, it has been very unreliable ever since I first got it.

I bought it new, and it's been in for service about 15 times in five years, including expensive engine repairs.

This car went in for service at least five times while still under the original warranty.

I would not recommend this car to anyone.

Faults:

Cruise control did not work. Part of the cruise control wiring assembly had to be replaced ($50 - covered by warranty).

First 2 speeds on the blower motor stopped working. Replaced blower motor resistor ($100).

Squealing noise from engine. Replaced belt tensioner ($50 - covered by warranty).

"Scraping" or "rubbing" noise from brakes. Dealer says brakes are fine. They feel OK.

Radio display sometimes displays odd characters.

General Comments:

This car is gorgeous and FAST. The left lane is my friend now.

I sometimes don't even turn on the radio, just so that I can instead listen to the sound of the factory-installed Borla Catback dual exhaust.

I feel like a kid on Christmas morning every day that I get to drive my G.A.G.T.!

However, if you're short, you'll have a hard time seeing out of the back windshield. And, if you're tall, your head might too easily hit the ceiling.
