2002 Saturn VUE
Summary:
My first new car: a horrible experience!!
Faults:
I purchased a Saturn VUE after a family member raved about the dependability and service that she had received with her previous two Saturns. I took a cross country vacation with my family and this is when we first noticed problems. My husband stopped to check oil and fluid levels and noticed that the dealership had failed to replace the oil cap when they had changed the oil. At this point we had driven around twelve hundred miles. On day two of our trip I began to notice the passenger side floor board was wet. It appeared that the air conditioner was leaking water, which it did for the rest of our vacation. When we returned we put the VUE in the shop and were given a rental at no cost. The vehicle was ready to days later. Approximately two miles from the dealership the water began leaking from the air conditioner at a more constant pace and heavier stream than before. We immediately turned around and the VUE was placed back in the shop once again. Around three weeks later the VUE stalled out on me a couple of times. I was able to get it started with no problem. Approximately one week later, on a 90-degree day in the middle of July, I was passing a boat in tow in a passing lane. As I reached to turn on the air conditioner the car shut down in the middle of the highway. My first new Saturn was definitely a lemon!! I was very dissapointed in the customer service I received. I would never purchase a Saturn again!!
General Comments:
Very unsatisfied with Saturn VUE.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

For that sticking it just might happen to be a bad mass air sensor. It was just replaced in my 2002 VUE for just the same conditions.
