2015 Subaru Legacy Limited 3.6
Summary:
I love it
Faults:
Nothing so far.
General Comments:
In considering what to get after getting rid of my Saturn Vue, I wanted a sedan as opposed to an SUV to get better handling, ride and comfort. AWD was a must as I live in snow country. After consulting with my son, a mechanic, and after doing considerable internet research I settled on the Subaru Legacy. Some reports I got suggested to stay away from the 4 cylinder due to a reputation of being an oil burner, and as well somewhat underpowered. After scouring several Subaru dealers websites for a couple of months, I found exactly what I wanted, a 2015 Legacy Limited (lease return vehicle) with 3.6 6 cylinder with 45000 km. I never considered getting a new vehicle as I have an aversion to getting shafted with depreciation.
So far I am completely satisfied with my choice. The car drives beautifully. It is powerful, handles great, is quiet, and most of all comfortable. My only concern prior to purchase was having had no experience driving a CVT equipped vehicle, which in the case of some manufacturers, don't have a good reputation. My concerns were put to rest with this car. It is very responsive to the accelerator pedal, having none of the "rubber band" characteristics. Time will tell, however, as to its reliability.
My only complaints so far are in reference to the HVAC display (which includes the clock and outside temperature reading) that are almost impossible to read in the daylight. The ride can be a little rough under some situations; I suspect the fault of low profile tires.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
