2019 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Premium 4.0

Summary:

Great truck that has an actual frame. Reliability at its best

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong. If you really want to be picky, the tow hitch has gotten a couple tiny rust spots on the end where you slide the tow ball into. I wash the car weekly though so it's getting blasted with high pressure often.

General Comments:

It's the best car I have ever owned.

It's a black on black SR5 premium. In the sunlight you can see blue speckles.

When shopping for a 4runner, the only thing I knew I wanted was the higher front clip design for 4x4ing. Not the more squared design that the Limited has.

The stereo is the 11 speaker system with subs and amp factory. It's been a lot of fun hearing everything in a song like you can only hear with headphones otherwise.

4 wheel disc brakes and 270 horsepower might not sound like much. It's 90hp more than my 99 4runner had and feels like lots of power to me.

You can definitely hear the engine whirring away when you punch the gas to merge into the fast lane. Only if you don't have the stereo turned down low. Which I never do.

I ordered a lift kit which I haven't installed yet as I'm still shopping for tires.

Update: sold it off after 3 years for more than I paid. Paid 45888...sold 49999. Something about a shortage kept my car in higher value than normally. Now I'm searching for a FJ cruiser to give a big yellow submarine a chance

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
