Faults:

Seat frame broke.

General Comments:

This car has been amazing as far as reliability, fuel economy, and comfort. It has a V6 engine that never lacks for power, and with its 5800 lb weight, it has always remained a steady 22 MPG fuel economy.

The interior is very quiet, and after nearly 78000 miles, there are few body noises to have to put up with.

The steering is solid, and it takes road bumps and dips with no noticeable discomfort at all.

I have pulled a trailer with ease, even on hills.

There is plenty of room in all of the cabin, with the exception of the 3rd row seats, which are not at all feasible for adults.

Faults:

Actually... nothing.

General Comments:

Truly a seriously comfortable car. Yes it was expensive, but we keep vehicles a very long time (not the Sonata... 5 troubling years), but the last Toyota car we owned we had for 12 years.

It has been totally trouble free. Navigation is a bit clunky... but works just fine.

The JBL sound system is amazing (the subwoofer is pretty good for original equipment). We have Galaxy smartphones, so no issues with bluetooth. I can stream i♡radio... or make calls with no problems.

The seats are supportive and comfy (one 14 hour trip straight thru produced refreshed drivers when we got home - the only vehicle we have ever owned that was comfy that long). Kids love the DVD system. Another plus...

I feel even though this vehicle was expensive to purchase, it is a great value. It has amazing resale value, and if we were to trade it in (would only be on another Highlander or Lexus RX-350), we wouldn't have lost so much money... like we did with the trouble prone 07 Sonata SE (paid $25,000 for it... and got $3,500 for it with only 48,000 miles on it... what a total disappointment...).

Absolutely would recommend the Highlander to absolutely anyone.
