1994 Toyota Pickup DX
Summary:
Best vehicle I have ever had
Faults:
Head gasket started to go at 72,000 miles, but was replaced by dealer under factory recall.
Starter started to go out at 90,000 but found out it was a simple fix to replace copper contacts inside starter to make it engage with flywheel.
Front left blinker bulb went out once and that is the only light in 11 years.
General Comments:
Great truck. I maintain this truck well, but use it for farm and rental business as well as daily commute. This T100 Toyota truck has been super reliable and still has the original clutch and brakes after 116,500 miles of work and play. I use it to pull work trailers and ATV trailers et and it still runs like it was new. The upholstery is like new yet and so is the paint. I have no squeaks and no broken switches or ANYTHING. This tuck gets from 17-25mpg and has a 24gal tank. Great cruising range on hwy. I have tried to sell this tuck twice because I'm bored of it, but it is to practical/reliable to part with.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

This is in no way intended to refute safety standards, but my '94 Toyota pickup was at a dead stop when it was rear ended by someone in an SUV going 60 mph. Knocked me out for a second. Bent the ends of the frame and destroyed the bed and some rear suspension. Repaired it for around $300 in (admittedly, junkyard) parts. The driver of the SUV was taken away in an ambulance and the SUV engine was split it half... seriously.
