Toyota hit a home run with this Tacoma
Nothing.
Great looking exterior, nice interior with options for most every need (less leather seats), and a very comfortable ride. Surpasses two previous model Tacomas I've owned by a mile.
My best auto purchase to date!

Basic, reliable transportation
The A/C began to blow warm. Dealer said a screen in the A/C came apart and entered into the compressor. Fixed under warranty, but the A/C is still not all that great.
Amplifier for subwoofer (factory JBL) went out.
The driver's side seat makes an awful clicking noise when I go around a turn, and there is a weight shift in the seat (my weight is 162 lbs). Dealer said everything was tight and they could not duplicate the problem; it still exists.
While slowly traveling over a speed bump or when I travel through a dip in the road, the front left shock/spring makes a LOUD squeaking sound.
And lastly, I don't think it's a problem, just annoying; the TACOMA TICK, when the vehicle is under acceleration.
This is a pretty nice truck. It is the first pickup I have ever owned. The ride is not too bad at all and the seats are comfortable.
On the highway, I do notice a lot of wind noise from the windows.
The truck did have some issues as mentioned above, which were covered under warranty.
I am impressed with build quality of this vehicle; it's tight and the driveline feels like it would last forever.
The problem for me is it's just a boring ride. I traded in my Infiniti FX35 for the Tacoma, and am about to trade in the Tacoma for another FX.
The majority of Tacoma owners I talk to absolutely love their trucks, and have had no problems whatsoever. If I ever do need a pickup in the future, I would probably go with another Tacoma.

Best truck I've ever driven!
No problems yet. Of course I've only had the truck for three months.
Beautiful truck! If you've ridden in previous model Tacomas you'll notice a very stiff "truck-like" ride. The new Tacomas ride much more like the Tundra than the old Tacomas. The interior is very comfortable and there's plenty of room for my wife and two kids on road trips. The JBL sound system will blow you away and the backup camera in the rear view mirror is a must have for anyone who tows a trailer.

I'm afraid I have to agree with commenter 11:22. The Tacoma is both over priced (DRASTICALLY SO) and lacking in build quality in recent years. I test drove comparable Tacomas and Rangers in 2006 and bought the Ranger because it was SEVEN GRAND less and rated exactly the SAME in reliability. The ride and handling were comparable, as was performance. I'm not paying $7000 more for a vehicle just to get a little "T" emblem.

Too bad this truck has a very weak frame. Take it over bumps at 50km/hr and it twists like a pretzel.
Hopefully toyota remembered to undercoat their frames this year.
Too much money for what you don't get.
Way overpriced.
