1986 Toyota Tercel SR5 4x4 Wagon 1.5
Summary:
Best all around cheap dependable transportation, in any kind of weather
Faults:
Nothing has gone wrong, but under normal wear and tear, I replaced the struts and front shocks... Other that that it runs perfectly and I love it.
This is my second Tercel SR5 I've owned, and I would still have the first one yet, but I had to sell it... it had 400K miles on it and still used no oil and ran perfect.
I appreciate the dependability in this Tercel; with the car not started for a month, I can go out in freezing cold weather and dig it out of snow and instantly start it up... and in the summer, drive over the mountains to California...
General Comments:
They are fantastic little/big cars that get great gas mileage and are easy to maintain... best of all, no payments...

Okay, not to be negative, but a 10/10 for performance? I had an '84 and it was anything but a performance car. 0-60 was at least 15 seconds. I would have rated mine a 3 out of 10 maybe as it ran pretty good, but no way a perfect 10. 10/10 scores are for cars like Vipers.
