2008 Toyota Tundra V8
Summary:
Trouble since day one
Faults:
ABS module went out a week after purchasing and was covered by the 30 day warranty. Since then the rear differential, lower control arms, air conditioning and drive shaft joints all had to be repaired at my own expense.
General Comments:
This is not what I expected from a well praised car company. The truck itself has a smooth and powerful engine, but the build quality is not good at all and it can’t seem to handle the workloads that my old Ford van could.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

Switching to another brand for a change maybe? Try it some time.

I would only add a vehicle that isn’t my proven daily vehicle as a second vehicle. I have done lots of trying. Truck wise I have a Ford and a Chevrolet. The Ford is a Harley Davidson Edition. Kind of unique, otherwise no, not especially a Ford fan. And the Tundra definitely isn’t for me. New or used.

Can you enlighten on why you had a great Ford and selected a Tundra instead of a Ford again? I get perplexed when I read reviews like this. I get if it was simply given to you.
