1992 Volkswagen Cabrio
Summary:
Decent... A MONEY HOG
Faults:
A bad gas tank had to be replaced.
Glove box lid replaced, leather was peeling off.
Cab light shorted out, was replaced.
Fuel pump replaced.
Exterior trim fell off.
Rims constantly fall off.
Incredibly little leg room, especially in back seat.
Weird idle, sounds unhealthy.
Hesitates during drive often.
General Comments:
Fun little car, especially in the summer.
Easy to park.
Good gas mileage
For the most part it's a reliable car, but not of the best quality.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I just purchased a 92 Cabrio and it runs the best!... The canvas top is in the best condition, the motor is in the best shape, I just had to change a relay on the alternator. You know that VW electric system is one of the untrusted things. It is great, I am in love of my little bug.
I changed my 95 Cherokee in great shape for the Cabrio, and it is as reliable as my old Cherokee. NO REGRETS!!
