I 100% agree. Our '01 2.8 GLX 4motion now has 130,000 miles and costs between $500 and $1K per year to keep on the road (not including gas). The interior still looks awesome and there's zero rust on the body, despite a life in the Northeast. We use it almost exclusively as a commuting car, and it serves this purpose perfectly. Considering the cost of replacement, I'll keep fixing this car until the body or interior start to wear out.
