2006 Hyundai Santro Club 1.0 EFI

Faults:

Fresh air vent lever on the dash board console was broken

Door handles on driver side broke twice

Font tires suffer perpetual unusual inside wear

General Comments:

Sale and after sale service is very poor

Otherwise driving this car is a pleasure

It is spacious yet has the right size to fit into crowded city traffic of Lahore

Brakes and AC are perhaps the best aspects of the car.

Steering is bit hard, but it is more evident on hard turns and is OK otherwise

Putting the car in reverse gear is tricky and mostly requires more than one attempt to succeed

Spares are costly, but available readily

My leg muscles took some time to adjust to claimed "antisubmarine" seats, but after a while I started enjoying the dominating view that I get while driving

Company has no website to guide the customers about problems specific to models sold in Pakistan

For example car has no camber adjustment mechanism and no camber kits are either provided or recommended by Hyundai for this model

Nevertheless when compared with other cars in this segment it is still the best buy to date.

2006 Hyundai Santro Exec 1.0 EFi 1.0 EFi

Summary:

A spacious comfortable economical and reliable small car

Faults:

Things gone wrong = Nothing.

General Comments:

I had to choose between Suzuki Cultus, Diahatsu Coure, Suzuki Alto VXR and Hyundai Santro --- and after test driving each of them and obtaining user feedbacks choose the Santro -- a decision which I am proud of today.

Price-wise, this car is more expensive than its counterparts, but once you've driven the Santro Exec, you get the satisfying feeling of getting value for the excess money spent. The level of comfort and driving pleasure that you get in a Santro Exec cannot be compared with its counterparts.

The craftsmanship, especially inside the car leaves all the competition way behind.

If you are in Pakistan and considering a small car (Santro, Coure, Alto, Cultus, Vitz) I would suggest that you go for Hyundai Santro (Exec preferably). It comes with an unmatching two years' or 50,000km warranty.

2006 Hyundai Santro Club GV 1.0 EFI

Summary:

V nice economical car

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

A very nice car. HYUNDAI have a good quality control in pakistan, and the after sales service is good. The car is worth its price (not considering the general overpricing and over taxing of cars).
