2005 Suzuki Alto VXR CNG F10 A SOHC 970cc

Summary:

Reliable, efficient and comfortable

Faults:

Problem starting in Cold weather.

Engine Vibration feels in first and 2nd gear.

General Comments:

It's very Cute and decent car with great performance esp on CNG, the A/C is cool and suspension and ride quality is better. the new crystal lights and dial type interiors give this car a great look. it's better then Suzuki Cultus esp in built quality and ride quality.

Intoduced in Pakistan in 2001, this is indeed a very good car in its class. Low price for a better value. Though it is a little smaller for a family. Very nice ride, perhaps the only small car absobing shocks like a big Cheverolet.

2004 Suzuki Alto VXR 1.0 petrol and CNG

Summary:

Good money value

Faults:

AC water leaks in side.

CNG kit was mounted to low.

General Comments:

I been using this car for over 8 months now, overall the engine performance and body is good.

The AC functions well, even when driven on CNG.

Few bad things are that a car of this price at-least should have a back windows defogger and a watch on the front panel does not cost a lot as well.

I would just like to add some observations regarding the Suzuki 800 assembled in Pakistan.

1. The over all look of the vehicle has not really changed since it was first launched.

2. The interior has a poor finish, compare this to the Indian version of the vehicle one feels as if we are hard done.

3. The overall price have exceeded beyond middle class scope. This can be clearly observed if we compare prices of Indian (AC version equivalent ~ 240,000/-) assembled vehicle with the Pakistani (AC version 350,000/-) version.
