2000 Kia Rio 1.5
Summary:
This car is not a good car
Faults:
Engine bent all valves, twice after the belt broke.
General Comments:
This car would have been a good car if it wasn't for the engine; every time the belt breaks, the valves bend. Other cars that I had like my Toyota, this does not happen.
Remember the fiat, it was banned by the US, they sold the pattern to Yugoslavia, and the Yugos were sold back in US with the same problem. There should be a control by the Federal Trade Commission, regarding engines on cars with the similar problems.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

Have they mentioned anything to you about the recall of the Engine Control Module? I received such notice in February of 2004. Might ask the dealership about this. If it's the problem, they should fix it free of charge for you.
