2008 Suzuki XL-7
Summary:
Not reliable at all
Faults:
So, the car I'm talking about here is the XL7 that is designed in Japan and assembled in Canada. Since I owned this car, I started to get reliability problems like the front seat won't move forward, I needed to try several times, the indicators, air conditioner,... etc.
After 68,000 km, I heard a voice coming from the engine like "Grrrrrrrrr". I took it to the workshop. I was told that the timing chain is stretched. Don't be surprised, yes the timing chain was stretched. Spare parts from the dealer were priced at USD 1,500, but luckily I came to know that the engine is similar to the 2007 Lumina's. Spare parts cost me around USD 600 from GM.
The moment I fixed the car, I decided to sell it right away.
General Comments:
The car is comfortable, but full of reliability problems.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No
