1984 Opel Corsa 1.2 petrol
Summary:
Built for people who just wanted to pour gas in and drive
Faults:
Considering the OHC engine, almost nothing went wrong, even though the car was already 14 years old when I got it.
The downside to Opel Cadettes and Corsas built in that time is the rust eating the chassis badly. I had to get it heavily repaired, but then, that's what you get with a car that old.
The clutch broke just in front of my house, luckily, repaired it for 20€.
The front wheel got blocked, but it was again due to irregular services.
General Comments:
All in all, it was just what I was hoping to get - a car which is cheap to run, easy to fix, and reliable. I cannot imagine a car which would malfunction more rarely.
A great car for city driving, low consumption, easy to find parking space...Surprisingly, enough room in the back seats and in the trunk.
It has served me well for full 6 years, before finally falling apart just like Muttley's car...
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Me again, I forgot to add that the radio is a bit hard to figure out (lots of buttons) and the wiper control arm is also bit hard to figure out.
