2007 Toyota Landcruiser 120 (Prado) TX 2.7L petrol
Summary:
Authentic SUV, much more refined and reliable than European and UK 4x4s by far!
Faults:
Nothing yet.
Aftermarket head end for the stereo was not wired up correctly.
General Comments:
So nicely put together.
Japanese manufacturing at its best. All quality components that lasted 9 years and will last another 19 years.
Tasteful, elegant metallic silver.
Cruises so much better than our 2.7 VVTI Toyota Fortuner with the same engine.
Suspension so much more sophisticated.
The 2.7 is the small engine model, but it's fine for Singapore where you cannot tow trailers.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

So we sold the Landcruiser! 26 Dec 2023. So it's over!
In summary: Super reliable 7 years of ownership. We changed tyres, oil, plugs, suspension bits (when they wear out). The starter motor. The from bottom seat cushions. But in essence the most reliable vehicle you could ever wish for. Ride is excellent. Only it costs $200 to fill the tank vs $20 to fill the tank of our Hybrid Malaysian Lexus CT200h car. So now that we have sold... We are going right back in to buy a second hand 4600cc Landcruiser with Malaysian registration!
