1987 Citroen BX 16TRS 1.6 petrol
Summary:
Nothing moves you like Citroen
Faults:
The following parts were replaced:
Hydraulic pump.
Main hydraulic pipes.
Gearbox.
Petrol pump... and of course I had some smaller problems.
General Comments:
Despite problems with it I really like this car. It is true that nothing moves you like Citroen. I enjoy every time I drive with because of its soft and smooth ride. After all, I bought it for a low price and I can get cheap used spare parts.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Just one change of spheres and a strut? Someone has been very lucky indeed! My front suspension units had a lot of replacement work, and the rear units locked solid at one point (a costly job).
Anyone buying a second-hand BX should look closely at the whole hydraulics / suspension history of the car, and hope any replacements will last.
