2007 Honda Accord Executive 2.0

Summary:

You’ll never need another car!

Faults:

Front and rear struts.

Wheel bearing.

Starter.

The biggest thing that has gone wrong was the air conditioning compressor. The pulley disintegrated and had to be replaced with the compressor clutch.

General Comments:

I got this car at a really good deal as I worked for the main dealer. I am extremely impressed at how reliable this car is. I’ve never been stranded and have driven it quite extensively already since purchasing it.

It has every option you could get on these and everything works flawlessly. The engine is quiet and extremely fuel efficient. Surprisingly I’ve even gotten 5.6L/100km on a trip of 1530km.

The ride is hard comparing it to its competitors like the Mercedes C Class and the BMW 3 series, but that makes it a great handling experience.

All in all, this has been the best car I’ve ever owned as I never have to worry about it breaking down or needing major repairs as this generation of Hondas K20 is known for its bulletproof reliability.

The Accord is a fantastic car. I have a 2005 one, still going strong.

I disagree with you. In the US, Honda is always one of the top resale value manufacturers. Good reliability. I have owned 2 Hondas and I am very happy with my purchases. Honda might not be flashy/showy cars, like German manufacturers. However, German brands such as Mercedes, BMW, Audi and etc... are over priced and simply over rated. Plus reliability is always poor. If I have a lot of money, I will (for sure) consider buying Germans, but also consider, Lexus, Acura and Infiniti because they are very nice cars as Mercedes, etc...
