General Comments:

For a car in this price range the engine is surprisingly gutsy and very willing, especially on the narrow roads of central Spain. Motorway cruising is effortless at the legal limit (125 kph).

The ride is firm and the seating is comfortable and supportive. On a return journey to the UK, a total of 4000 km, one was surprisingly fresh at the end of each day's driving.

The car is a genuine compact 5 seater with ample room for luggage.

The car copes with all of Spanish and European driving conditions, including unsurfaced and cobbled roads. Obviously speed must be adjusted accordingly!

During the year, the car is left idle for up to 2 months at a time and on return, so far, has not failed to start first time. Say no more!

General Comments:

My first idea was to buy a second hand card because the money I could spend on it. But when I saw I could have all I wanted in a brand new car I didn't doubt.

I really mind security in a car and the Rio LS comes with almost any devices I was looking for.

The power of the 1.5 engine is enough for my driving. And in addition the fuel mileage is very near to the announced 7.2.

I had read about two problems: noise and suspension. I have compared them with other cars and found that it is not more noisy or less comfortable.

I use my car daily in the city and from time to time make trips of over 500 km. I think I got a car which is comfortable and modern and I like the way it looks. Also sometimes I need to carry extra luggage and all fit in it.

I think I got the car I paid for.
