2011 Audi A4 Executive SE 1.8 TFSi

Summary:

OK!

Faults:

ABS sensor, brakes, some cosmetic rust on front arch.

General Comments:

The Audi A4 is a great executive car that does everything well.

My car is a silver 2011 model, getting on now but still feels modern.

Petrol TFSi engine is pretty rare as most are diesel. But this 1.8 even with the auto box still manages to provide good acceleration. Economy is not great (35 mpg at best) but it is an older petrol automatic in a reasonably sized car, so cannot complain too much. The engine is also smooth and quiet, something the diesels are not. Reliability has also been good.

Gorgeous inside, SE Exec model is a nice one. I have beige velour seats, and all electrics. The car is very comfortable.

Can be expensive to buy and run, but these cars return with solid reliability and longevity.

2011 Audi A4 Technik 2.0 TDi

Summary:

Luxury and style

Faults:

EGR valve.

Small oil leak.

New brakes.

Center console display a bit erratic.

General Comments:

This 2011 Audi A4 still feels as good as new. It is a very solid built car. On higher mileage now and shows no signs of stopping.

Lots on the used market and usually overpriced, but get a nice one with history and you have a great car.

Classic 2.0 TDi engine does 45 - 50 mpg and great acceleration as well.

Interior of this "Technik" model has the lot - leather, electric everything. Very nicely styled also. Quiet on motorway.

My car is silver as 75% of Audi's are. Would prefer another color, but buying used I had no choice. Still, I love this car and do not want to change it, despite getting on to be 13 years old now!
