2003 Audi TT V6 DSG 3.2 V6
Summary:
A superb all round performance car
Faults:
Nothing yet.
General Comments:
The TT feels like an extremely solid car. The DSG gearbox suits it very well and feels much more the upmarket GT than the 225s I have driven before. The extra torque of the 3.2 engine is always apparent and while performance can be seriously quick it is equally happy cruising.
No, it doesn't handle as well as a Boxster (or my Mk1 MR2) but grip is very high and it feels extremely safe. As a day in, day out, all year round performance car it does the job better than anything else I have looked at.

1 year and 20,000 miles further on: reliability has been 100 % but it has taken a while to get the most out of the car. The DSG box is great going up through the gears, but coming down it is sometimes more jerky than I expected. The engine has fully loosened up and provides all the performance I could ever need. Economy is good on the motorway - 30-32 mpg. First service cost £330 - a bit of a liberty for an oil change, although at 19000 mile intervals you can't really complain. It takes familiarisation to get used to how much grip there is - wet or dry. Ride is very firm, even on the motorway.
Still makes for a great GT car.
