2002 BMW 3 Series 330Ci Sport Coupe 3.0
Summary:
Nice project!
Faults:
Air con, oil leaks, rust - but I knew about all this. The car was very rough and bought as a project restoration; I have been slowly turning it back to its former glory.
General Comments:
Gotta love these early 2000's 3 Series Coupes. Stunning cars to look at and still very nice to drive. Timeless style. Original alloy wheels from BMW suit the car perfectly.
My car is blue, the best color. Beige leather inside. Comfortable and smooth. Visibility is excellent.
3.0 petrol isn't great on fuel, but it feels very fast so who cares. You can get 28 - 30 mpg if you drive very slowly, which is actually quite economical for an old 3.0 petrol engine.
A lot of these old coupes on the used market at the moment. I got mine for just £900 a couple of years ago due to mileage and below average condition, but a mint one with low mileage will be in the £6000 - £7000 range and above. Do your homework and buy carefully - the biggest mistake people make buying these cars is buying abused overpriced examples and not knowing what they are getting into!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Nice cars, but I'd pay 6 grand tops for a good condition one with very low miles. 7 grand and above is M3 price range of this generation (in good condition). But the cost of used cars is insane these days.
For 900 bucks, you have done well if you can get this car presentable!
