2013 BMW 5 Series 520d M Sport 2.0 diesel
Summary:
Make sure you get a good one
Faults:
Nothing. I will admit I have only had the car barely two years and have not done much mileage however.
General Comments:
BMW. Expensive to buy? Yes. Worth it? Yes, on a well looked after car.
2013 5 series is nothing short of perfect transport if all you want is a comfortable spacious car that can also provide a fun driving experience. Hard to believe it is eleven years old - this car feels as good as new.
520d M Sport is the one to have - perfect balance of power, economy, and options for most drivers. I regularly get around 45-50 MPG or more and I have fun, I do not always drive slow.
2.0 diesel with a manual transmission is perfect for me, but that car would also suit an automatic, it really is just what you prefer, almost any engine and transmission setup in this car will be fun to use.
Stunning in black with original BMW alloy wheels. Inside is black leather and is also stunning. If I am being really picky - the climate control and center console buttons are a bit fiddly to use, but no big deal once you are used to them.
These cars get crazy expensive if something serious goes wrong; if you are looking at buying an older 5 series, I strongly recommend you buy from a reputable dealer with full verified history and avoid the private seller muppets on social media trying to get rid of abused cars at crazy prices!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
