Faults:

The air bag light keeps coming on and flashing at me, and also the ECU unit appears to have gone wrong! It revs the car up on its own, and then stalls whilst accelerating which can be scary on the motorway!

The passanger seat broke within a few months of purchase, Citroen then ordered only half the bits to fix the seat.

The plastic trim inside the seat, to keep its shape on the edges, has come out of both seats and Citroen want the car for a week with no courtesy car to fix it!

General Comments:

The car is a good little car, I just want something a bit more powerful so I'm soon trading it in for a VTR.

As I'm only 18 the insurance can't be too high, that's why I'm getting a VTR, not a VTS!

The car is good on petrol and is a good early morning cold starter.

The car came with a CD player, airbag, blue sporty dials, VTR style interior, and with Citroen you get lifetime MOTs, so that's good!

Be wary of the front tyres wearing out, I put 15" RS Kahn alloys onto my 1.1, and the front tyres are wearing a lot, and the back of the car grinds with passengers. Don't get 15" wheels unless you have a VTR or VTS, they have different wheel arch widths.

Faults:

I haven't had it long enough for anything to go wrong, touch wood, but my fan seems to kick in quite a bit. Even if I've only driven 5 minutes down the road the fan comes on and this is in cold weather - my dealer told me this is normal, but the fan then runs for about a good five to six minutes once the engine is off. I wouldn't mind if I was stuck in traffic.

A lot of rattles already.

General Comments:

It's great to drive and sticks to the road like glue which makes you want to floor it round bends.

Smooth gear change, brakes feel a bit spongy but at 500 miles I'm safe in saying that they are not run in.

Make sure you get a Spear wheel lock, they can be a great steal.

General Comments:

What a beast. It pulls like a train, looks good and isn't too scary in the corners.

Faults:

I'm 17, just passed my test (and Pass+) and Citroen said they would pay 3 full years insurance so my dad went ahead and paid for the car @ £12,000, but then when Citroen found out that the insurance was about £4000 they decided not to.

General Comments:

My car is amazing! Lowered, Superchipped, K&N air filters, 16" OZ alloys, £1500 worth of ICE!

I've got 124mph out of it, anyone beat that then let me know!

Faults:

The brakes are still incredibly noisy, particularly in the wet.

The largest bane with my car is the painful accelerator pedal at little over 3500 rpm, the pedal shakes violently until 3500 is exceeded.

Temperature gauge also went haywire, sorted by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it again.

General Comments:

Well pleased, wish Citroen UK would sort out the problems though.
