1993 Citroen Xantia LX 1.8 petrol
Summary:
An affordable good looking, high quality car
Faults:
The car needed new front discs fitted.
New front sphere's fitted.
The car also had to have new drive-shafts fitted.
Gear Linkage fitted at 71000.
Rear door lock needed to be replaced
General Comments:
This car is high on specifications in comparison to other manufacturers in this class.
When the car is running properly it has, in my opinion, unrivalled ride quality with good performance.
I bought a bargain car knowing it needed work on it, but I am led to believe that my car repairs are common place on this car.
I would not recommend the use of dealerships as they are over priced and the dealers I have used have been inadequate in repairing my vehicle.
I have found a local independent Citroen Specialist who provides quality at a reasonable price!
There are a lot cheaper, genuine parts available if you look beyond the dealerships.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I wish you luck and hope that you pass the institute for advanced motoring driving test. I passed this test and it has saved me 50ukp on my insurance for my Citreon xantia.
