General Comments:
I love the sound of the free-revving engine so much that I rarely have the stereo on!
The performance IS there, but it does need to be in the right gear and revs.
The car is commendably rattle-free even on bumpy roads and handles very well, with none of the usual nose-heavy understeer of powerful front wheel drive cars.
The brakes are superb.
The ride comfort is fine on most roads, but on poor surfaces it can jar a bit.
So far, the car is very easy to live with, with loads of user-friendly touches.
If only this engine was available in a rear wheel drive Barchetta with the steering wheel on the right side!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

I have similar poor experiences with my HGT and also with the local Fiat dealership. You are right they do not return calls and will not take responsibility. The cam-belt on my HGT snapped at 30,000 miles and I put it into the dealer for repair. Eventually managed to get the warranty company to pay. Last week I was promised the car back today. I told the individual that I spoke to that my wife was heavily pregnant and so I would need the car back as soon as possible. I also said that they should call me if they knew the car would not be ready by today. Surprise surprise no phone call and the cars is not ready. No one there cares. Wife has given birth now... had to get her to hospital in a taxi!
I will never buy a Fiat again!!
