2004 Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.4 petrol
Summary:
Feisty, Fun Fast, Young
Faults:
Not a thing has went wrong with this car.
General Comments:
The new Fiesta is a really great car, I too am amazed at how well the car has 'grown up' as I used to not like Fiestas at all, but this new model is fantastic. I bought the Zetec as it had alloy wheels, cd player etc and got it in Panther Black.
What can I say, I am really ecstatic about this car, it handles beautifully and is relatively easy on the pocket, especially as I am currently only working part-time. I have had this car at 80mph, with 5 people including my present inside the car, and there was plenty more power to spare, the only problem was the road was not long enough to go any faster.
The car looks amazing with its alloy wheels and I also ordered the twin tail pipe extension at an extra cost, which gives the car that 'aggressive' look and has a nice note when the engine is running.
Cons - washing the car is fine, it is relatively easy to keep clean, especially for a black car, though polishing the car is a nightmare, don't ever try it if you have no patience, the polish makes the paintwork really swirly and awful and you need to wash and dry the car again before it really shines, apart from that, no bother.
To sum up, if you want a reliable car, which can hold 5 people comfortably, complete with luggage and travel at high speed, then buy a fiesta, it won't let you down.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Fair point about the clutch pedal, but you must be driving like a maniac to get the back end out on those fat tyres. In any case, did you not take a test drive?
