1995 Hyundai Accent LSi 1.3
Summary:
Reliable nippy runaround
Faults:
Shortly after delivery of the car the boot lock needed replacing.
General Comments:
The car was basically bulletproof. Nothing broke down or failed apart from the boot lock.
Servicing from dealer was expensive, so the money I saved in petrol (37mpg against 32mpg on my old car) went towards higher than expected service charges (£130 rather than £85 on my old car).
The car was smooth and easy to drive and quite peppy.
Seats were too soft, but plenty of room for its size.
For the cam belt change service I took the car to an ex-hyundai dealer who charged £100 less that the main dealer for the service.
Only changed it because I needed a bigger car.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
