1991 Nissan 100NX 1.6
Summary:
A good looking, well built, sports (doesn't scare your pants off) coupe
Faults:
Nothing has gone wrong with it yet, but I have not had it long enough for anything to go wrong.
There is some wear on the upholstery. Not surprising for a car that's 11 years old.
The body work needs a little attention around the wheel arches. Not a big problem.
General Comments:
I bought the car for the wife to replace her worn out Fiat Uno. She hasn't been able to drive it yet as I am having too much fun with it.
I had a Renault Laguna which I sold and bought a motorbike. The 100NX is now tempting me back onto four wheels.
It's not fast, but it is great fun to drive and hugs the road like a sports car should.
Extremely comfortable with a good driving position.
It is the first 100NX model that Nissan brought out and does not have a targa top. Living in the Lake District where it rains on every day with a Y in it, this is not really missed.
Having only done 1,500 miles in it over three weeks, it is a little early to spot any problems.
Go and buy one. Have some FUN!
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Would love to know if I am driving your old car!
Bought it from a garage as a 97 R reg only to find it was imported from cypress and is actually a 94 model. (upset considering we paid the 97 price)
The car is in mint condition mind you and really does handle well for a front wheel drive car.
It feels very comfortable and you wouldn't know how sporty the ride was till you suddenly throw it into a corner and all of a sudden you feel the g-force and unbelievable grip.
For such a heavy well built car it should have more power.
Have none of the usual faults the mileage says it 40 000 maybes its true and that's why.
By the way don't buy one of these till you see one in white don't know why, but we were smitten when we saw a white one compared to the blues and reds we looked at the car just rocks in white.
It looks like a celicia from the rear three quarter view, but the front end headlight arrangement takes some getting used to, but nowadays it doesn't look so different as a few new cars have adopted similar front ends.
Side view roof off and a few people think its some new MR2!
