2002 Peugeot 307 rapier hdi 2.0
Summary:
Total rubbish, will not be buying another peugeot for quite some time
Faults:
Electric front windows operate by themselves on occasions.
Sunroof opens, but will not close.
Knocking noise from under car in wet weather.
Switches on to economy mode when it feels like it.
Rear left tire wears more than others.
Trim on backs of front seats keeps falling down.
Rear left hand door keeps sticking closed.
Front carpet keeps coming away from door trim.
Car shakes on tick-over making you feel ill in heavy traffic.
General Comments:
Peugeot refused to take the car back within first week due to faults.
Claimed mpg total rubbish.
Different sales person each time you visit so harder to resolve problems.
Dealers seem more interested in selling me a new car than fixing current one.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

I agree with the comments on the 307. The clutch problems seem to be a regular issue not to mention the poor trim quality. Things which went wrong with mine:
Clutch flywheel failure
Rear door handle sticking
Rear left wheel tyre wear IS high as with previous reviewer (why is that?)
Power point in car is flimsy.
Boot is not really designed for regular use as the carpet comes away from the edges.
Engine management problems.
Economy mode - life of its own.
Knocking and rattles from front suspension/steering.
I had a V reg. Astra previously. Other than minor niggles, the car was faultless for 80,000 miles.
