2003 Renault Clio dyiamique 1.2
Summary:
OK
Faults:
Since buying my Clio in December 2005 I have had no end of problems at first the car kept cutting out when waiting at traffic lights after finsihing work at 8:30pm. Was not impressed, but put it down to me stalling Thankfully it hasn't done it since.
April this year when coming back to Guildford from Crawley my sister was driving myself and her home we got 500 yards down the road and the air bag warning light came on. I took the car to my local dealer as it was still under warranty and they said it was due to me or my passangers keep putting things under the seat. it was fixed no problem.
Then in may this year when I went to my local petrol station to fill up the tank kept clicking back and it took at least 5 minutes to fill the tank up. I took the car again to my local dealer under warranty and they had the car the whole day and they told me that had replaced fuel pipe. Then 6 weeks ago I went to my local petrol station to fill up just got back from holiday and surprise the same thing happend. It took 5 minutes to fill my tank as the car is now out of warranty Renault are saying I will have to pay for it. Typical. All I want is to go and fill up at a petrol station and know I can fill the tank without the constant clicking back from the tank. I am now at the end of my tether and wish I had stuck with my old Peugeot 106 which I sold to my sister.
General Comments:
Drives like a dream apart from this fuel fault.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

This often happens with cars at certain pumps. All you have to do isnot grip the nozzle quite so hard and the fuel will go in, but at a slower speed.
