1998 Rover - Austin 600 GSDi 2.0 turbo diesel
Summary:
Quality and Comfortable motoring
Faults:
Car has been very reliable, but recently the drivers electric window got stuck.
But I have had a look and it seems a window runner rubber has become dislodged at the front of the window.
General Comments:
I am really surprised by the car, I expected it to be rubbish, but after a test drive I bought it and it is a really nice car to drive.
It is fast, comfortable, luxurious (lovely leather interior),economical, and well built with no rattles or bangs.
All the controls are nice and light, and the car is easy to drive. Even my wife likes it!We had a Peugeot 405 diesel before this and that was like a tractor compared to the Rover.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

The electric window problem most be common as it has happened to my Rover 600. The glove box is very small on these cars and the high boot limits rear veiw visibility.
