General Comments:
We've all heard the stories and read the hype in the magazines, but take it from me, Stay Away from Minis! I drove one daily for 6 months and I am not exaggerating when I say that something went wrong every single week. I now hate this car, very much, pretty to look at, and its true, good fun to drive, but be prepared to get your knuckles skinned.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

Perhaps after driving a Toyota Corolla a Mini was an unwise choice?

The mini is a CRACKING little car, but they need constant adjustment to keep them in fine tune.

The age and high mileage of the car were probably contributory factors.

I had a 1976 Mini 1000 as a first car. Beat the living crap out of it, crashed it twice and it still never let me down in the 18 months I had it.
