2008 Seat Ibiza Sport 1.4 16v petrol
Summary:
A great alternative hatchback
Faults:
A/C won't work, and the rear wiper stuck.
The car has had the usual parts replaced for age and mileage (brakes, suspension components, etc).
Interior is heavy worn, but the exterior looks OK for its age.
General Comments:
My 2008 Ibiza is the first of the updated shape from this time. Still looks modern for a 14 year old car. Black paintwork, original Seat alloy wheels, very smart.
Interior on the other hand is a bit dated, looks more 1990s than anything else. Sport model has decent enough equipment however, electric windows all round. Comfortable enough seats and good visibility.
1.4 petrol is not fast, but good on fuel, cheap insurance and generally cheap to run. I have found repairs and servicing very reasonable also.
The car drives very well, sharp in corners. Pretty fun to drive. It is not such a common sight on the roads so makes a great alternative to a Vauxhall Corsa or Ford Fiesta or whatever.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
