2005 Toyota Yaris Colour Collection 1.3 vvti
Summary:
A wonderfully, dependable, reliable car that I would certainly recommend to others without a doubt
Faults:
Minor Oil Leak which dealer found during first service and immediately solved problem under warranty.
General Comments:
My yaris - what can I say about it?
Lovely little car to look and own especially if you have previously owned a Ford Ka Luxury which has been to the garage more often than it has parked on the driveway.
Fantastic reliability, dependable, already done over 27000 miles in less than 2 years and still feels like brand new although interior is starting a few wears i.e. plastics light scratches.
Spacious boot when seats are folded forward- First time I went to Surrey with 700 books in to the boot space with seat folded forward- took no problems at all - completely swallowed all the books up and problems could take more. I've even fitted a photocopier in the back of it along with the extra paper tray and duplex unit and still had plenty of space for both myself and my front passenger.
Looks fabulous especially in silver and with manufacturer default rear spoiler which came as part of A/C package along with mud flaps, front fog lights and alloys.
A wonderfully little car that is like a tardis, small on the outside, impressively spacious inside, has enough performance, great fuel economy - averaging 45mpg in city and 49 on motorways - both with A/C on and no need to drive slow either, superb reliability.
For those looking for a new car or a used car, I certainly recommend the Yaris, in particular the face-lifted 2005 model, looks nicer as it has colour coded bumpers and mirrors and has lots more kit and extra oomph from engines.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Why does a car built in 2005 require an MOT? My biggest bill for servicing was £94 (30,000 miles) The spark plugs need changing at this service.
