2008 Vauxhall Corsa Breeze 1.3 CDTi turbo diesel
Summary:
The trusty friend
Faults:
Nothing.
General Comments:
Great little car based in the UK, but used for a 70 mile daily commute, as well as numerous pan European trips when fully laden.
50k miles, and all that has gone wrong is a headlight bulb, very impressive in any car.
Lots of torque for such a small motor however very gutless with lots of turbo lag when cold, or at low revs. It's a supermini, but feels at home on motorways.
Excellent on fuel, 55mpg, but this model is a bit stingy on kit; does have air con though.
Great build quality, nothing has fallen off, the car still looks almost new, inside and out.
20k service intervals and cheap servicing are great, this is often overlooked when working out the running costs of a car.
Only downside is that it could be considered a little dull, and also it's very common now.
All in all, a cracking little car.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

One of these past me today as I was walking to my car. White with a black roof and wheels. Very very nice. Also had upgraded exhaust and dump valve. Got to be one of the nicest sounds I've ever heard. Jumped in to my Civic Type R hoping for a play about, but he was gone by the time I got going!!!
