Faults:

I have had this car for 6 months now, and nothing has gone wrong so far.

I bought it with full main dealer service, and all I've had to do is put 4 new tyres on.

General Comments:

As you can see I have marked this 10/10 for performance, as this is the fastest car I have owned, and I love it. The V6 is great, and powerful even for a car of this size!

The running costs are the same as my old 1997 2 litre 8V Omega, which surprises me, but the V6 is an EcoTec, and runs a lot more economically.

I have an Estate, and it just swallows the loads, and is really comfortable.

The auto box is smooth, and the sport button, though I hardly ever need to use it, is a lot of fun!

Faults:

Slight gearbox fault, fixed easily for £100.00.

Electric height adjustment on seat stopped working, not bothered fixing it as its not a major problem.

General Comments:

Well where do I start.

This car really is a dream to drive. The v6 engine is so smooth and quiet I have been known to turn it over not realising its running!

The power is exceptional for a car of this size, easily pulling 0-60mph in 8 seconds and have been told they are good for near on 150mph.

Extremely comfortable driving position, although I would specify a need for xenon lights. This car doesn't have them, and how I miss them from my vectra, for the lights on dip beam are very very poor!

Petrol consumption varies on how you drive it, I took a steady 245 mile drive to wales (75 - 80mph) and it used bang on half a tank.

The stereo is very decent, producing very good sounds to the point a friend of mine asked if I had put a "bass box thingy" (her words) in it!

The boot is huge, on our trip to wales I fitted 2 full size cases, 4 holdall bags and bed linen, boxes etc etc in there with ease.

The engine every 9 months or so might start tapping, don't get drawn into expensive bills for this, its normal, it just means you need an oil change, once that's done its gone.

The front tyres wear away on the inner edges a lot quicker than the rest of the tyre, this is due to the position the wheels are set at to maximise handling (so a police officer told me).

As for handling, well, I have driven a lot of cars in my time, and have never driven a car that handles this good, at high speeds into, and out of corners, it does stick to the road like its on rails.

CDX range adds cruise control and sometimes leather, but its not a major thing if you want to save a few hundred pounds, hence why I chose the CD.

Not sure if I am allowed to put this on here, but I bought mine from DK Car sales in Newbury, and they really know how to look after customers.

I have never had service like it, great warranty, loan cars if you need them, and very cheap labour rates for there customers.
